Shannon and Joe’s love story began when Joe was working at a local restaurant while pursuing his degree in Political Science with a concentration in Law at the College of Charleston. After serving over four years in the military, he knew Charleston was where he wanted to build his future. Originally from Rhode Island, Joe quickly fell in love with the city's charm and Southern warmth.Shannon, originally from Pennsylvania, moved to Charleston in 2010 to attend Paul Mitchell The School of Charleston and has been passionate about her craft ever since. She briefly moved to Colorado for three years, gaining new experiences before returning to Charleston. Picking up right where she left off, she rejoined the same salon before proudly becoming its new owner, right in the heart of historic downtown Charleston.From the moment they went on their first date, it was clear they were meant to be. Shannon’s bold, radiant energy fills every moment with excitement and spontaneity, while Joe’s quick wit and dry sense of humor keep her laughing. He is her steady anchor—the patient listener to her animated storytelling, the quiet strength that keeps their whirlwind of love grounded, and the perfect balance to her lively spirit.Together, they cherish life’s simple joys—sharing laughter, embracing adventures, and supporting one another through every chapter. Their love extends to their two beloved pets, Marloe and Bentley, and they recently took an exciting step forward by purchasing their first home on the beautiful Johns Island.Joe planned the perfect proposal on Sullivan’s Island Beach, complete with a surprise photographer and a romantic celebratory dinner with friends, making the moment even more unforgettable.Their relationship is a beautiful balance—Joe’s calm, steady nature perfectly complements Shannon’s vibrant, spirited energy, making them an unstoppable pair. Whether they’re laughing until they can’t breathe, playfully teasing each other, or simply soaking in life’s sweetest moments, their love is effortless, joyful, and undeniable.
