Ryan and Shannon's story starts like many modern love stories. With a simple "swipe to the right." The couple met on the dating app, Bumble, back in 2016. Shannon was the first to contact Ryan and sent him a message that was sure to stand out among the others, "Hi." Ryan was not impressed initially but the two continued to chat and quickly learned that they had a lot in common. They decided to give it a chance and met-up at The North Park Lounge for their first date. It went well, so they agreed to hang out again. Shannon knew introducing Ryan to Luna would be a tough test for Ryan to pass, so Luna joined them on their next date. To Shannon's surprise, Luna loved him almost immediately. This had to be a sign.

Ryan and Shannon continued to casually date. Then, one hot summer day, the two decided to meet up at The Kenny Chesney Concert. They had the time of their lives laughing, drinking, singing and dancing together. After that night, they realized that they had both met someone special. Not long after, they officially became "boyfriend and girlfriend."

The two continued to go on dates and to learn about each other. The more they learned, the more they liked each other. Before to long, "like" turned into "love." They spent the next few years enjoying countless concerts, ball-games, trips and nights out on the town together.

Eventually, they both came to the realization that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. They began to talk about the future and starting a family. Then one day, when visiting Ryan's family in Colorado, Ryan decided to seal the deal. He got down on one knee and proposed to Shannon on top of the gorgeous Aspen Mountain. Shannon was thrilled and immediately and enthusiastically said "Yessssss!!!"
