Lanae is not only Shannon's sister-in-law (married to Ryan), but a dear friend. She's been a loyal friend through times of celebration and times of hardship. She's been busy learning the ropes of motherhood to their son, Haddy, and doing an excellent job. She can really cut a rug on the dance floor, so watch out and make some room!

The newest addition to the Harney family, but Abby quickly has become a wonderful friend to Shannon! Abby is adventurous, bubbly, compassionate, and supportive. Shannon is super thankful Logan married this lovely lady to not only gain a new sister, but a lifelong friendship.

Dani and Shannon first met as roommates. Dani moved across the country from Georgia to Colorado back in 2019. After one phone call, they decided to move in together as strangers. The Lord knew what He was doing, as they quickly became friends and have been doing life together ever since!

Karissa is a new friend that Shannon met here in Laramie. Even after a short time, they've been able to connect over things of the Lord and a mutual love for condiments. Karissa is is busy being a mother and teacher, and having her 4th child in October! Karissa and her husband Tim have been great friends to Kyle and Shannon in this season.

Shannon and Lia have been good friends since nursing school at GCU in Arizona. Lia played a special role in Shannon's testimony in coming to surrender her life to the Lord. Lia and Shannon spent their free time in college going to coffee shops, painting, and adventuring across the border to volunteer at a men's mental health facility in Mexicali, Mexico. Over the years, they have kept up with one another and maintained their friendship in and out of season, united by the bond they have as sisters in Christ.

Amy Harney (aka, "mom") has been Shannon's day one. While they butted heads from time to time in Shannon's adolescence, in adulthood they are best of friends. Amy is also an RN, a health coach, and an excellent card player. Shannon and Amy love to travel together and have had many adventures. Amy has been praying for the Lord to bring a man like Kyle into Shannon's life for many years!

Kyle and Travis first met when they were in Kindergarten and have been friends since! They became close once they started playing football together in Middle School and High School. The two lived together in their years at Texas Tech University and have kept in close touch since. Travis married his now wife, Justine, in November of 2019 and recently celebrated the first birthday of their son Dawson. Travis works for Lockheed & Martin as a finances operator and has enjoyed a fruitful career with the company for the last 6 years.

Kyle and Will met in the Fall of 2015 when they decided to join the same Christian fraternity at Texas Tech University. Shortly after, they became friends and both pursued their training together to become Young Life leaders in Lubbock, TX. After becoming roommates in 2016, they were assigned to the same local High School and enjoyed evangelizing to the spiritually lost students. Will met his wife through Lubbock Young Life and married Ashton in the fall of 2019. Will and Ashton now live in Allen, Tx where Will works as a computer technician/engineer for Raytheon and Ashton works Full-Time for Young Life as the area director for all of Allen. They’re exciting to become parents to a beautiful baby girl this fall!

Dylan is Kyle’s oldest friend and vice a versa. These two have known each other since they were still in diapers and have been friends for as long as they can remember. Dylan and Kyle grew up two houses away from each other in the same neighborhood and played many outdoor activities together as kids. They attended the same elementary school together until Dylan moved away to Boise, Idaho. Through the years Dylan and Kyle kept in touch and strengthened their friendship, and by a stroke of good fortune, Dylan and Kyle were able to live together for one final year in High School. Dylan eventually attended the University of Idaho where he acquired his Computer Science Degree and works for the city of Boise now as a Computer Technician for an electrical services company.

Kyle and Preston met in their Freshman year of High School and became better friends toward the end of that year when they both started attending Young Life together. They grew closer as they began to grow in their involvement in Young Life as student representatives for their peers. They remained close through college, as Preston went on to get his engineering degree at Texas A&M University where he met his now wife, Lindsey. They eventually moved to the Houston Metroplex where Preston serves as a Civil Engineer and Lindsey is beginning her early stages of an Occupational Therapy career.

Kyle and Ryan met in Kyle’s senior year of high school where Ryan was a Freshman at Texas Tech University. They became close after Kyle had joined BYX, a Christian Fraternity Ryan had told Kyle about before going to school. Ryan was Kyle’s “Big” in the fraternity so they grew close over the years as they spent a lot of time together. Ryan and Kyle lived together for a year before Ryan eventually decided to married his wife Sara in 2019. They moved to Denver not long after that and have been a great piece of home for Kyle since he moved away from Texas in 2021. Ryan works as a financial planner/coordinator for Lockheed & Martin while Sara works as a Professional Counselor.

Kyle and Travis met in their freshman year of high school when they played football together, and grew closer as friends in the subsequent years in high school. They became college roommates in their Sophomore year and even shared some classes together due to similar majors. Travis has been in the pursuit of becoming a commercial pilot within the last few years and has established a newfound passion within him. With several successful flights under his belt, Travis is looking to finalize his training and make his next move in his career as a Pilot.
