Biarritz - small town where French royalty used to vacation and the birth place of surfing in Europe

Bordeaux - one of our favourite cities and the world's best cassoulet (restaurant: La Tupina), amazing local wine bars

St. Emilion - small medieval city and a UNESCO world heritage site known for their world renowned red wines! (a short train ride from Bordeaux)

Paris - the city of love

Champagne region (Reims & Epernay) - only a short train ride from Paris, walk from house to house tasting champagne on repeat

SPAIN

Bilbao - great food and one of the most famous museums in the world - Guggenheim

Barcelona - amazing beach, food, parties and architecture

Seville - haven't been yet, but everyone has been raving about this city

Alicante - amazing beaches and food

Palma - stunning island and beaches, sailing, boat trips and snorkelling

Ibiza - there is a surprisingly calm, luxurious side to the island with amazing hotels and spas

ITALY

Emilia Romagna - food paradise - birthplace of Parma ham, Parmigiano-Reggiano, balsamic vinegar, Pavarotti, Massimo Bottura - oh and Ferrari!

Lake Como - stunning scenery, luxurious resorts and George Clooney's summer home

Florence - rich artistic history, architecture, and Chianina cows (leather and steak!), also a short drive to Tuscany

MALTA

Valletta - the capital city of Malta surrounded by forts dating back to the 1500s, Malta is a small island and easily accessible to unbelievable beaches (e.g. Blue Lagoon)

PORTUGAL

Lisbon - capital city with rich history and the home of Tim's favourite, pasteis de nata

Porto - home of port wine and a UNESCO world heritage site
