Neither of you are from Florida...why the Keys for your wedding?
When we got engaged, we knew that we wanted our wedding to reflect ourselves but in a unique way. We did not want to go through the stress of planning a big event if we felt like we would be unable to properly enjoy this celebration with our guests. As Shannon kept browsing through Pinterest for wedding inspiration, she kept coming across a wedding photographer from the South Florida area who made the Keys look absolutely stunning. After doing more research, we became more and more intrigued and started falling in love with getting married on these little islands since Shannon's dream is to get married by the ocean.
Over lots of long conversations, we decided that since a marriage is the adventure of a lifetime we might as well start ours off with a bang!
We have a goal to visit all 50 states and go on some of the most iconic road trips in America, so we thought the Keys would be able to fit both of those bucket list items nicely!
Where are you getting married?
We are getting married at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park in Key West, Florida. As the most southern beach in the continental US, it truly is an unforgettable place.
