When should we arrive?

The ceremony will start at 3pm. Please arrive by 2:30 to park and make your way to the ceremony.

What is the attire?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/ cocktail attire. Be mindful that the weather in this area changes frequently. It can be very hot mid day and then get chillier at night. Additionally, our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors and therefore we recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Please avoid wearing white or taupe colored dresses or bow ties.

What will happen if it rains?

Our reception will be held under a tent with walls regardless of weather. If it does rain, umbrellas will be provided for guests for any times they need to exit the tent such as using the indoor bathrooms. We plan to make the most of our day, rain or shine, and we hope you will too!

Will children be invited to this event?

Yes! This is a child friendly event. This camp is intended to host children throughout the summer so there will be plenty of activities for your little one to get involved in. There will be alcohol at this event. If you plan to drink, please ensure that you and your children have a safe ride to your hotel or please stay in one of the available cabins. Please ensure that you include your children in your RSVP so that we can have an accurate guest count!

Where can I stay after the wedding?

We have three lodging options listed under the travel section of this website. Please do not wait to book lodging. Our wedding falls on the same weekend as the towns high school graduation and we want to ensure everyone is able to secure the lodging that they feel most comfortable with. The cabins will be free to stay in, however, the number of cabins is limited and therefore we ask that you let us know right away if you are wanting to reserve a cabin for your family. Please also let us know if you would like to share a cabin with any other families attending the event. Please be mindful again that there are no restrooms inside of the cabins but the indoor restrooms are a walking distance from each cabin.

Not going to make it, what should I do?

As we are saddened to hear that you won't be celebrating in person with us, we totally understand that things come up. Please let us know ASAP so that we can provide our vendors with an accurate guest count.

Will there be alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options?

We will have an open bar with beer and wine at this event. Cash tips are still appreciated for the bartender! We will not have any hard liquor at this event. There will of course be plenty of non alcoholic options to choose from whether you are under age or just prefer not to drink including mocktails, sodas, and plenty of water!

What food will be there?

After the ceremony we will have a cocktail hour with a grazing table for you to enjoy. During the reception we will have a buffet style dinner with bbq foods including brisket, pulled pork and chicken as well as several sides. Please please please inform us of any food allergies or food restrictions you have asap so that we can make meaningful accomodations for you ahead of time.

What will the parking be like?

There will be free parking on site parking in the grassy area by the entrance.

Can I bring a plus one?

If you did not receive a plus one but feel strongly about bringing a specific person, please reach out to us and we will work with you to make any necessary accommodations if possible! We are having a large wedding and therefore would like to keep plus ones to a minimum.

What if I do not RSVP on time?

Please reach out to the bride or groom right away. It is important that we give an accurate guest count to our vendors and we want to ensure that everyone has adequate lodging.

Should I know anything about the area?

Yes! Because this is a very rural area, you will likely lose cell service as you get closer. Please ensure that your phone is charged and your directions are loaded before starting your drive to our venue. There will be wifi available at the campsite that you will need to log into to start your directions to your hotel or for your drive back home.

Do I RSVP through mail or online?

Please RSVP right on this website under the "RSVP" section. Please be sure to answer all questions under the RSVP section so that we can best plan to accommodate all of our guests. Thank you!

Do you have a registry anywhere?

We are registering through the knot which you can access right on this website under the registry section. We are asking for donations to our new home fund! Our hope as newly weds is to be able to purchase a home to start our new lives in. There will also be a card box at the event for anyone who wishes to leave us a card with well wishes inside.
