There is plenty of parking at the venue, however a shuttle will depart from Golden near Atomic Cowboy (800 11th St, Golden, CO 80401) at 3:00pm and the Hotel in Evergreen at 3:30pm for those without a designated driver.

South Table Mountain Park
Another fond hike of ours, get a good view of Golden, Denver, and the foothills. Fairly easy hike with multiple ways to get to the big and iconic rock towering over Golden! Watch out for rattlesnakes though...
Paint Mines Interpretive Park
Feel like you transported to another planet about 1.5 hours from Golden. The paint mines have evidence of human life as far back as 9,000 years ago. The park features fantastic geological formations including spires and hoodoos that form through erosive action that creates incised gullies and exposed layers of selenite clay and jasper. The park includes a restroom facility, four miles of trails, interpretive signage, and many natural wonders
