How should I RSVP?

You can RSVP online through the Knot, which is the same website that you are viewing right now! Please RSVP by the first week of May.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

We want our wedding to feel like a whimsical garden party! The dress code is semi-formal/dressy-casual, but we encourage you not to stress about the dress code! We want to keep the atmosphere light-hearted and fun!

How do you feel about plus ones?

Our wedding invitations list who all is invited to the wedding. We are mainly doing plus ones for couples where we know both people and it has been a long-term relationship! If you have any questions on who is invited, please contact one of us!

Are children invited to the wedding?

We want to have a fun family-friendly wedding so children are welcome and invited if it is mentioned in the invitation! Please let us know if there are extenuating circumstances, and we would love to help you attend the wedding!

What food will be served at the wedding?

We will have cake after the ceremony is over around 2:30 or so, and the reception will have a full dinner.

Will the events be inside or outside?

The ceremony at Centenary Methodist will be inside and the reception in the evening at High Bride Park will be outside. June weather in Kentucky is pretty stable, but there could be a slight chance of rain.

So what's with the different ceremony and reception?

We decided that we wanted to have our ceremony with cake immediately after in the mid-afternoon. The reception will be a few hours later starting closer to dinner time. These are separate events, so if you are only available for the ceremony, that's totally okay!

What is something you really want us to do for your wedding day?

We have been talking a lot about how fun it will be to dance with all of our friends. So PLEASE, don't feel shy to tear it up on the dance floor. Shawn plans on making a fool of himself, so don't expect people to be embarrassed at you. We also have plenty of activities to occupy the time, so don't feel like you have to be glued to your chair the whole evening.
