Desert

-Silver Springs- Beautiful small hike (20 min each way) in Elko to a lake with clear water and cliff jumping

-Fairy Creek Falls- 20 ish minutes easy hike each way to some waterfalls

-Fernie Alpine Resort- Mountain biking or hiking

-Island Lake Lodge- hikes or enjoy a meal on the patio surrounded by mountains

-Main street/ 2nd Ave- lots of nice shops. Souvenirs at Giver Shirt Works, Ghost Rider Trading, or No 3. At Bean Pod you can see them make chocolate from the bean or check out Rooftop roasters for locally made coffee

-Spa 901 is the best place in town if you want to treat yourself and relax while you are in town

-Tons of mountain biking in Fernie (Rentals at Gear Hub)

-Kookanusa is a massive lake nearby
