Which boat should I take to make it to the wedding on time?
The ceremony will begin at 2:30. If not on the giant fogg’s water taxi, take the 1:15 ferry or schedule a water taxi for 1:45.
Why aren’t there any Long Island rentals listed on the website?
There are limited places to stay on the island and the island inn will be reserved for close family members and friends.
How will I get to the venue after the boat ride?
Our venue is a five minute walk from the dock. We will provide limited transportation for our guests. The guests with mobility issues and young children will take priority. (Comfortable shoes are recommended.)
What happens if I did not RSVP by the date given on the invitation?
If we do not receive a response from you before June 8th, it will be considered as a "No". We understand it's a big decision with the traveling, we just ask that you keep us updated :) If you cannot make it, we will miss celebrating with you, however, we have to provide our venue and vendors with final guest counts in a timely manner. Thank you in advance for understanding
What is the dress code?
We want you to be comfortable at our wedding and the attire is beach casual. May we suggest that men wear a long or short-sleeved shirt with slacks or shorts and ladies wear a sundress or dressy separates, like a nice top and skirt. If taking a boat back in the evening, you may appreciate an extra layer. The summer ferry schedule is TBA and will be added once it is finalized.
Where do I park?
Check out the travel portion of the website.
What time will the ceremony begin?
The ceremony will take place at 2:30. The reception will take place outside on Jeanie and Ed McAleney’s ocean-front property at 2:45 in the afternoon.
Will beverages be served?
A selection of beers and wines will be served. Fresh lemonade and water will also be replenished throughout the day.
Can I bring a plus one?
We cannot wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people on our wedding day! Even though we would love to have everyone there, our venue has a strict guest limit; therefore, we can only accommodate those listed specifically on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding!
