Our Wedding

That's right - it took us two tries to get here! But we made it at last, all thanks to the Lord! To back up in time, Shelby and I met nearly 5 years ago at Declaration Church in Bryan, TX. We both worked as interns and later on as residents together. While Shelby was in a relationship at that time, we enjoyed easy chemistry and having a lot of fun together at work. Our friendship was very natural and our dreams in life were similar, so we found ourselves spending more and more time together.When Shelby was single again, it didn't take long for the romantic feelings to develop. We started dating after our first year of residency, and it was a rollercoaster to say the least. We did love each other, and even got engaged, but we were not ready. I was not mature enough or ready to step up as the man that God was calling me to be. My deepest regret in life is hurting Shelby during that time, which led to our ultimate breakup. But thankfully our story doesn't end there! God used our time apart and our painful wounds to lead us into more healing and redemption than either of us thought possible! A year after our breakup and we were both different people, ready to try again. Learning to trust and love each other once again was another sort of rollercoaster, but this time it was a fun ride that didn't end in an explosion. Our deepest gratitude goes to Jesus Christ for leading the way in our relationship and giving our story a redemption that we could not have attained on our own! Our families and friends all played a huge role in supporting us as we figured our relationship out, and now we cannot wait to celebrate with all of you! -Ben

Unfortunately, we do not have a hotel block, but if you are traveling from out of town/state then we recommend any of the below hotels. There are also lots of options on Airbnb near the venue if you'd like to rent a space privately.

This is the closest option to our venue. 13 minute drive from the Gin and about 1 hour from IAH in Houston.

Great option for anyone who wants to stay in South College Station, about 20 minute drive from the venue.

Best Western Plus College Station Inn & Suites

This is one of the nicer hotels in Bryan/College Station. It overlooks a small lake and has dining + retail outlets close by. It is about a 35 minute drive from the venue.
