Zachary & Shelby met in January of 2021, and frankly, their meet-cute is one of their favorite stories to tell.

Zachary had recently started working at a car dealership and had been there for about two weeks when a friend of his decided to stop by to see what vehicles he had available. Little did he know, his friend was bringing along a friend of her own — Shelby.

As per usual, to avoid speaking with a sales representative (especially at a car dealership), the excuse was made during the test drive: “We’re hungry! We’ll go get some lunch and let you know later today.”

Immediately, Zachary had bigger plans than discussing the sale of the vehicle.

Z: So you’re hungry?

S: Yes.

Z: I assume you’ll be hungry tomorrow?

S: I would assume so as well!

Z: Would you like to get breakfast?

Little did either of them know, that breakfast would start as a ten-hour-long first date and turn into hundreds more breakfasts, three homes together, two hilariously dumb dogs, and one incredible love story.

That one simple question changed the trajectory of our lives in a huge way — from “Would you like to get breakfast?” to “Will you marry me?”

We cannot wait to have you all with us on our most important day, sharing a place in our story. Here's to a lifetime of breakfasts.
