Part of Denver's Theatres & Arenas Division, Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a naturally formed, world-famous outdoor venue just fifteen miles west of Denver (and about 10 min north of the hotel block!). Red Rocks is recognized for its star-studded concert roster, natural acoustics and ambience, as well as its awe-inspiring hiking and biking trails. The Visitor Center features interactive educational displays, a short film on its geologic and musical history, a Performer's Hall of Fame and delicious food at Ship Rock Grille.
Our first date, we spent hours at Wash Park. Weather permitting, this is one of our favorite spots to share with family and friends. We even did some of our Engagement Photos here!
Weather permitting, this round trip trail is just over 2 miles, easy to moderate terrain (no hiking gear necessary), and holds the best views of the entire front range.
