- Wildflower Cafe - our favorite brunch spot in downtown Evergreen! Large portions and oh so delicious! Great for a wedding hangover.

- Evergreen Bread Lounge - super cute vibe! Yummy coffee, breakfast, and sandwiches.

- Murphy's Mountain Grill - delicious & creative bar food & cocktails in a rustic & cozy setting in downtown Evergreen!

- Willow Creek Restaurant & Keys on the Green - looking for something a little fancier? Maybe looking for some elk on the menu? Both of these restaurants are in great locations and have a cozy Colorado atmosphere!

- Woody's Wood Fired Pizza - Best pizza in town located in Golden, CO! Get the pizza buffet - you won't regret it.

- Beau Jo's Pizza - this is a famous Colorado pizza favorite (we still like Woody's better), but this is a bucket list item. For the full experience, be sure to dip your crust in honey - yes, it's a thing.

- Revival Brews - a casual brewery in downtown Evergreen serving pub food.

There are SO many places to hike and get outside, but here are a couple of our favorites that are nearby:

- The Brother & Sisters Loop - a fairly early 3-mile easy hike in Evergreen with beautiful views!

- Evergreen Mountain Trail - a moderate 4-mile hike tucked in the dense forest of Evergreen with some stunning overlooks! Worth the climb!

- Elk Meadow - an easy leisurely 4-mile nature trail in Evergreen! No elk are guaranteed, but if you do see them, do not pet. :)

- St. Mary's Glacier - an out-of-towner favorite. It's a short 2.5-mile hike to a beautiful lake & glacier. Moderate difficulty with a rocky terrain, so make sure you have some solid shoes. Located near Idaho Springs (about a 45-minute drive from Denver).

Visit one of the most popular concert venues in the world! If you don't have time for a concert during your visit, it's also a park! You can hike some trails nearby or you can walk through the amphitheater for free - it's open to the public in the mornings/afternoons before their events start.

If golf is your thing, be sure to book a round right next to the wedding venue. If you're lucky, some elk will join you!

An iconic Colorado activity - see one of Colorado's mountain towns via train. Be sure to book this activity in advance.

Enjoy a beautiful drive in the mountains through aspen groves. This pass has some tight turns, so drive slowly and carefully. It is approximately 22 miles long and usually great for catching the beautiful Colorado colors. This pass connects interstate I70 and Highway 285 between Georgetown and Grant, CO.

Downtown Golden is so charming - it's one of Shelly & Jarred's favorite towns. There is something for everyone here - from shopping to saloons to a river walk. Golden is also the home of Coors Brewery - you can take a tour and get free samples too!
