Sherwin and Ilan met on November 20th, 2016 in Downtown Decatur, Georgia. Having originally met each other online, Sherwin was a little nervous and Ilan was a lot nervous for their first date. But after learning about their mutual appreciation for food, cocktails, and museums, they agreed to a second date ... and a third ... and a fourth!

Ilan moved to Long Island, New York in July 2017&nbsp;for his fellowship. For&nbsp;six long&nbsp;months Sherwin and Ilan traveled&nbsp;back-off-forth between New York and Georgia every few weeks.

















On a cold November evening in Manhattan, over a candlelit dinner, Ilan proposed to Sherwin and she said yes!

Altea

Elizabeth is a rare gem and a dream best friend.&nbsp; We met in the sacred halls of UGA&nbsp;Law School.&nbsp; She is the kindest,&nbsp;most reliable friend.&nbsp; She is&nbsp;my biggest supporter, from&nbsp;attending my first jury trial, to&nbsp;telling everyone--including&nbsp;complete strangers&nbsp;and their mothers--about me,&nbsp; to&nbsp;planning&nbsp;&nbsp;unforgettable trips.&nbsp;&nbsp;She bought&nbsp;my first Jewish study books&nbsp;and witnessed&nbsp;my first visit to the mikvah. I&nbsp;met Pareesa during one of&nbsp;our first&nbsp;attorney training programs&nbsp;and we quickly became close friends bonding over her vast knowledge of&nbsp;beauty products, ancient history,&nbsp;and popular&nbsp;psychology. I always enjoy her insightful conversations;&nbsp;I&nbsp;can't imagine&nbsp;my special day without her humor and companionship.

My beautiful sister-in-law and I&nbsp;share many similarities, including our love for&nbsp;animals, fine-dining, taking&nbsp;*the* best photos of a special moment,&nbsp;and travel. I&nbsp;am so happy to have her share her big brother's special day with me.

Eli and I&nbsp;were classmates in Medical School. Being roommates during our first year of schooling, we learned we had&nbsp;similar interests in computer electronics and&nbsp;not attending early morning physiology lectures.

Jeff and I met in elementary school. He has a wicked sense of humor and is my go-to for social media banter.
