The Barn on New River (Southfork)

Attire: Semi-formal (See FAQ)

The 90-acre farm offers patios, gardens, riverfront, Blue Ridge mountain views, fields, and more. The ceremony will commence under the pergola on the stone patio facing the pond. Cocktail hour will follow on the outdoor patio, with reception dinner and dancing in the barn.

3:00 PM–6:00 PM

Preparation

The wedding party will have access to the "ready rooms" for hair & makeup, photographer detail photos, and final touches before the ceremony. Ladies will be in the Dahlia Suite and the gentlemen in the Lounge.

6:00 PM–6:15 PM

Prelude

As guests find their seats, light music will set the tone for the evening. The processional will soon begin with the seating of honored guests, followed by the entrance of the wedding party.

6:30 PM–7:00 PM

Processional & Ceremony

The ceremony will begin with the entrance of honored guests, the groom & parents, and wedding party, followed by the bride's entrance with her father. The officiant will lead a brief ceremony as we exchange vows and rings in front of our family and friends.

7:00 PM–8:00 PM

Cocktail Hour

Enjoy a selection of appetizers while mingling with guests. The couple will spend a brief moment here to take photos with guests before heading off to take formal portraits with the photographer.

8:00 PM–10:00 PM

Reception

Join us for a buffet-style meal, champagne toasts, and of course, cake. The night will continue with music, dancing, and unforgettable memories in the barn.
