Sid and Alli met September 8, 2022 at a wedding rehearsal for Matt and Beryl Deyoe's wedding. Sid was a groomsman and Alli was Beryl's maid of honor. The Deyoe family encouraged them to get to know each other the rest of the rehearsal dinner and wedding day. They were introduced multiple times throughout the event and by the couple's send off, Sid had asked for Alli's number.

At the time, Sid was living in Austin, Texas and Alli was in Butte, Montana. After one week, Sid booked a ticket back to Montana to visit. Their first date was a double date with Matt and Beryl on October 23, 2022. They knew that night they would never go on another first date.

Over the next few months, the two took turns flying to visit each other. Eventually Sid moved back to Indianapolis and Alli moved there to start law school.

Sid proposed October 27, 2023 with a note at a pumpkin patch. He had staged a scavenger hunt leading Alli to a pond where he popped the question and had a family friend hiding to take pictures.

Between Alli being in school and the pair living states away from the venue, the wedding has taken some time to plan. Sid and Alli are excited to celebrate with their loved ones!
