Billings is the largest town in Montana and is the closest major town to Red Lodge.

-The Carlton is in Laurel, MT and is about 15 minutes outside of Billings and 45 minutes from Red Lodge.
-The Quick Stop in Rockvale, MT is a fast food and ice cream drive up restaurant open in the summer months. Alli went here a lot growing up.
-Cooney State Park is a reservoir about 30 minutes from Red Lodge. It's smaller, but has camping, boating, and some fishing. This was a good place to swim growing up.
Alli grew up in Columbus. It's a very small town with just a few restaurants.

Fishtail is a tiny town, but the drive there is beautiful and their general store is adorable.
Nye is tiny and cell service will be scarce.
-Family friendly hike to Woodbine Falls just past Nye.

Or Butte, America, as it's affectionately called, is where Alli lived when she and Sid met. It's about an hour west of Bozeman and is the largest historic district in the state. Butte was once a booming city in Montana due to its copper mines. It is worth the drive if you have the time!

Missoula is about 5 hours from Red Lodge and 3 hours from the Bozeman airport. It is located in a beautiful part of the state.

Cooke City was a top contender for the wedding location! Cell service is scarce, but the area is beautiful. About 2 hours from Red Lodge (be sure to set your timeline to after May for the roads to be open).

-Virginia City is a historic small town in Montana. Pan for gold and garnets.
-The Pryor mountains have wild horse and ice caves. These are a favorite of Alli's grandma who loved to search for arrowheads here!
-Glacier National Park is in the northwest part of the state.
-Flathead Lake is one of Montana's most beautiful lakes with extremely clear water. There is fishing, hiking, boating, and the infamous Flathead cherries. This is also near northwest Montana.
-Self tour of the old former prison and a car museum in Deer Lodge, MT. Rumored to be haunted.
-Phillipsburg is a scenic town in the mountains. Mine for sapphires, visit a ghost town, and head to the chocolate shop.
-Stop at Georgetown Lake along the way.
-Beautiful body of water with great fishing inside a beautiful canyon.
-Beautiful mountain lake with fishing and camping near West Yellowstone.
-Alli's family camped at Canyon Ferry every year after Alli hit junior high. Large lake with options for camping, fishing, and boating.
-Historic theatre in Anaconda, MT. You can still sit in the balcony.
-Book at Fairmont Hot Springs outside of Butte, MT to swim in their outdoor and indoor hot springs and slide.
