Evan and Sierra meet at the College of Saint Rose

Evan asks Sierra to come home to Canandaigua (her first time) over Easter Weekend to meet his parents... who were on vacation in Florida... Catherine makes Sierra an Easter basket the next morning

Sierra meets the whole family at Evan's sister's wedding! Sierra just knew it was love when Catherine gave underage-Sierra, her "over 21 y/o" bracelet to drink at her own rehearsal dinner. Then, when Evan (rightfully so) tried to cut Sierra off from multiple glasses of wine and Mrs. Pam yelled at her son to give it back.

Evan visits Sierra in Virginia Beach for the first time

Sierra transferred to Roanoke College and Evan finished out his senior year at St. Rose; thus, beginning their 4-year long-distance relationship from NY to VA. Many many facetime calls and miles added to their car odometers.

Evan visits Roanoke for Sierra's 21st birthday!

Evan's 23rd birthday. Sierra would visit Evan for his birthday just before she had to go back to college for preseason.

Sierra's first time visiting Canandaigua for the 4th of July, which quickly became one of their favorite holidays to spend together (hence the wedding weekend).

Evan meets Sierra's whole family during her college graduation. From here, graduated and "adulting," their story really takes off.

1-2 weeks after graduation, Sierra knew she was staying in Roanoke for a year to work in the ER. She couldn't find a roommate, so Evan encouraged her to adopt a dog she's always wanted. They visited several shelters and Evan gave Sierra the push she needed to pull the trigger. Rambo was the first dog they met at the Roanoke SPCA and Sierra just knew he was the one. Next thing you know, they're taking Rambo to Petsmart!

Sierra and Rambo stayed in VA, while Evan lived in NY. This would be their final year of long distance before they both decided it was time for a change...

After 4 loooooonngg years! Finally! Evan and Sierra (and Rambo) get their first apartment together. They can't believe it's real. Sierra's best friends get them this little key holder as if they anticipated what came next...

While Sierra is away on a bestie's bach trip, Evan drove to Pennsylvania to rescue Marvin. Much like Rambo's name, Sierra and Evan contemplated changing Marvin's, but it stuck with them. It was too cute to change. Fun fact, they tried to hide that they got a puppy from their landlord because only one dog was allowed. They eventually got terminated from their lease for having two dogs!

Evan, Sierra, Rambo, and Marvin get their first rental home together! Now they're really playing house. The place they start their first garden, went crazy with fall/Christmas decor, and Evan got stuck in the snow up the long steep driveway just about every single day. Evan figured he needed to trade-in his front wheel drive Mercedes and Sierra learned she hated shoveling in the winter.

As if they couldn't get any closer, Sierra and Evan saved up for a cross country road trip in Sierra's Nissan Versa with the two doggos! One last great adventure before heading to PA school. They YouTubed how to remove the back row from the car and found a twin sized pool floatie on Amazon that perfectly fit as a bed in the back. They took turns driving 33 hours straight to WY, UT, and AZ for two weeks (and somehow didn't kill each other).

Back to long distance for another 2.5 years! More facetime calls and adding more miles on their cars. Sierra and Rambo took off to Potsdam, NY for PA school while Evan and Marvin stayed in Canandaigua. It was easier being only 3.5 hours away and they would frequently visit each other every free weekend they had. But after living together as a family, now separated, this was even more difficult for them to be apart.

Just before COVID-19 hit, Evan bought their first house for them! They got to renovating ASAP before moving out of the rental home. Evan took care of the rent and mortgage all while Sierra was accruing more debt in PA school :,)

Sierra would travel home to help Evan renovate here and there before finally being sent home from her PA program during the peak of COVID-19 to attend classes remotely from Canandaigua (a huge perk being back together as a family).

Evan sits through another graduation of Sierra's as he supports her getting her Master's degree. He's got a special gift for her.

After a long day of graduation and white coat, Sierra's tired, she's hungry, she's cranky... and Evan wants to take a picture before going into the restaurant for dinner. After telling him where to stand so they can get this over with, she turns around to find him down on one knee and her jaw literally hits the floor. She's not even sure what he said but it was the easiest damn yes of her life!!
