Anything on Printer’s Alley (alt)
Printer’s Alley is a historic strip filled with eclectic bars and unique vibes. Pop in and out of spots like Bourbon Street Blues or Alley Taps for live music, cocktails, and an authentic Nashville experience off the beaten path.
Coyote Ugly (alt)
Coyote Ugly is where the party “kicks” into overdrive! Famous for its lively atmosphere & playful bartenders, it’s a great place to let loose and “kick” it on the bar.
Luke’s 32 Bridge (alt)
Luke’s 32 Bridge is a top pick for food if you want food at a bar on Broadway. Snagging a table can be tricky, but it’s worth the wait for the adult mac & cheese.
Friends in Low Places (alt)
Friends in Low Places brings dive-bar vibes with a laid-back atmosphere. Perfect for grabbing a beer and relaxing, it’s an excellent place to take a break from Broadway’s high-energy scene. Chicken tendies, burgers, and steak (if you want it from a not-a-dive dive bar).
Assembly Food Hall (alt)
Assembly Food Hall offers something for everyone with its wide variety of food stalls and rooftop seating. Whether you’re in the mood for tacos, sushi, or BBQ, this spot has you covered.
The Valentine (alt)
The Valentine is a vibrant spot where live music meets high-energy fun. Requesting Fall Out Boy songs here is a tradition… Fish.
The Boqueria Tapas & Wine Bar (alt)
Located beneath Assembly Food Hall, this wine and tapas bar brings a taste of Spain to Nashville – It’s a favorite for Eric and Sierra, reminiscent of their engagement trip to Spain. Madrid, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Pamplona, San Sabastian. You got Spain ideas, we’re all ears (or Portugal, too…).
Charley Pride, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn. Just to name a few Greats that frequented Tootsie’s purple-painted pub. Hands down Eric’s favorite bar – and a Nashville stalwart – Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge is an iconic honky-tonk with three levels of live music and a hidden outdoor bar accessible behind the stage on the third level – that’s where we’ll be – but let’s keep that secret between us.
A prime spot for a snack and drinks before catching a game at Bridgestone. This bar offers balcony views and lively energy, perfect for people-watching or spotting the Boilermaker as it treks its way through downtown Nash.
Ole Red’s is a classic Broadway bar with one of the best lookout spots for soaking in the downtown atmosphere. Signature Southern charm, live music, great views. Check, check, and check. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have an ice rink on top 🙁.
Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar (likely alt)
Jason Aldean’s has become a staple on Broadway, offering plenty of space to hang out, especially on the expansive upstairs floor. A solid pick for groups, this bar delivers great vibes and memorable nights.
Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk & Rock ‘n’ Roll Steakhouse (likely alt)
Known for its electrifying atmosphere, Kid Rock’s features the best stage downtown. It’s freakin awesome. Five floors and a rooftop. Need I say more? That stage though. Holy cannoli, batman!
FGL House (Now Lainey Wilson’s)
This is where romance meets rhythm! It’s where Sierra and Eric danced the night away on their first date. It was 1-2-3 just as easy as can be but now it’s in a 4x4xU!
A stop at the Johnny Cash Museum is more than just a bar visit; it’s a cultural experience. Dive into the life of the Man in Black, and grab a beer to start your Broadway adventure. Open early, you can grab a beer here at 9AM… or so I hear.
Charlie Pride was the Man in Black
Rock & Roll use to be about Johnny Cash
Yeah whatcha think about that
Well I'm a crazy son-of-a (BAD WORD)
But I know I'm gonna make it Big And Rich
Renowned for the best BBQ in town, Peg Leg Porker delivers mouthwatering meats and Southern sides. If you need food at this point, prolly a good idea to head here.
Yee-Haw Brewery is where it all started! After a decade apart, Sierra and Eric reconnected here (and happened to park right next to each other, unknowingly…). Grab a craft beer here, or spirit as it is also a distillery. It’s a good spot to buy merch, even if you lose hats like Eric..
Like Eric loses hats..? Loses.. Anything..? Gets lost himself..? You get the picture. Good luck Sierra. Maybe it’ll be different under new management.
Is it British? Is it Irish? Doesn’t matter. Nothing like back in Freeport, the Pub’s got hearty fare and refreshing pints in a cozy atmosphere. Whether you’re stopping by for food or drinks, the Pub delivers comfort and charm in equal measure. Not sure if ordering an Irish Car Bomb will get you kicked out.
Third & Lindsley (not happening bc needs tix)
This iconic music venue hosts incredible live performances, but it requires a time commitment, so we won’t be going. HIGHLY encouraged.
A smoky dive bar with cheap Busch beer and Chicago sports on TV. If this sounds like your kind of vibe, it’s a perfect pit stop.
City Winery is a moderately upscale spot for wine lovers, offering live music, dining, and a relaxing atmosphere. It’s a great option for a more refined evening.
This rooftop bar at Margaritaville Hotel is ideal for sipping tropical cocktails while enjoying downtown views.
For something completely different, try your hand at axe throwing while enjoying drinks. It’s an adrenaline-pumping addition to any night out.
A fun-filled spot with games like duckpin bowling, giant jenga and giant beer pong. Perfect for a casual stopover, it’s great for sipping a beer while watching some friendly competition.
Sorry if you didn't realize your second favorite college bar was a chain. Although, I’m pretty sure it was just good enough to become a chain. This only applies, though, if your favorite college bar was a chocolate shop. This isn’t a Harry Potter reference. IYKYK
A dive bar so good, it’s on the list twice! Red Door Saloon Midtown offers the same laid-back charm as its East Nashville counterpart. Grab a beer and soak in the unpretentious vibe.
Losers has cold beer and great food. Known for its welcoming crowd, it’s a low-key spot to knock a few back. Pretty sure this is where the locals go when they go to Broadway. (Ik it’s not Broadway…)
Winners (Now Riley Green’s Duck Blind)
With (at least former) ties to Losers, Winners offers a similar vibe but with its own twist. It’s a go-to for live music, good food, and… yes, cold beer. I’m told you can get an extra beer in your bucket if you order Busch…. We’ll have to see if that’s true under the new management.. Speaking of New Management..
The original Nashville hot chicken spot, Hattie B’s is legendary for its spicy fried chicken. Be prepared for long lines. Like, long lines. But the wait is worth it if you want THE authentic hot chicken experience.
Hopsmith is a sleek gastropub with creative cocktails, craft beers, and elevated bar bites. It’s a great place to relax and recharge mid-tour.
A laid-back spot offering brunch, drinks, and spiked coffee, Hi-Fi Clyde’s is the perfect chill venue for a late morning…. You made decisions last night and this is the right spot to recharge.
Santa’s Pub
Santa’s Pub is a Nashville institution. Full stop. This cash-only karaoke dive bar is housed in two double-wide trailers stapled together. They only serve a handful of drinks from dedicated ice-filled trash cans. Can you say, “efficiency”? Zero-pressure karaoke is the main attraction.
The ultimate spot for greasy burgers and cold beer. Dino’s delivers classic dive bar vibes and comfort food that hits the spot.
An East Nashville gem, Van Gogh’s Wine Bar is a cozy spot for wine and appetizers in a uniquely eclectic setting. Kitchen closes at 10:00pm. Perfect for winding down the night.
This trendy East Nashville bar offers chic cocktails and a stylish yet relaxed ambiance. A great place to enjoy creative drinks with friends.
This dive bar is a local favorite, almost like cous-cous. It’s a laid-back spot with strong drinks and a welcoming vibe. I’ve heard it’s open late (or early?).
A quirky and fun venue, The Treehouse is a unique spot for creative drinks and a memorable atmosphere. Its relaxed yet vibrant vibe makes it a standout in East Nashville.
Butcher & Bee is known for its fresh, seasonal dishes and modern Middle Eastern-inspired fare. A fantastic option for brunch or a casual dinner.
Southern Grist Brewing Co. (alt)
Southern Grist serves some of the most inventive craft beers in Nashville. A must-visit for beer lovers looking to try something new.
