It will surprise none of you that we are getting married in Brooklyn, NY. We'll be asking you to venture out to the rich and lovely neighborhood of Bushwick, where we will be throwing our party at Bat Haus, a collaborative space right near the L train.

We're keeping this low-fi and low-key, so here's what you can expect: a short ceremony, a taco bar, lots of beer and wine, excellent tunes, a relatively early finish and probably a goodly amount of cheese.

Please feel free to arrive any time after 12pm

The Ceremony will take place at 1pm

The Reception will last until 4pm! We'll have drinks and nibbles and cake and probably a few embarrassing speeches. unfortunately, we have to be out and tidied up by 5pm (anyone who wants to help out with that gets extra cake). But don't worry--there's also going to be....

The Afterparty is Shiv's chance to bring to life her dream of going to a bar in a wedding dress. The bar that wins this particular honor is The Rookery (425 Troutman Street--just around the corner!).

And, if you get in a little early, we'll be lurking at the Hinterlands Bar (739 Church Ave.) in Kensington on Thursday, September 22, giving our singledom a good Viking funeral. If you're around, come say hey!
