If you decide to AirBnB it...

If you want to opt out of the hotel industrial complex, there are a lot of options near the venue: just search for Bushwick, and look for properties near Maria Hernandez Park (just a stone's throw from Bathaus). Williamsburg is just a couple stops away, so that would also be a good area to consider.

Alternately, if you want to stay near our house (you know, for maximum shenanigan opportunities), we live in Kensington, and are very convenient to Windsor Terrace and Park Slope.

Should you prefer to hotel it, here are some great options!

Getting to Bat Haus

279 Starr Street, Brooklyn, NY, United States

The easiest way to get there is by using that good old New York institution, the Subway! The Jefferson stop on the L train will deposit you just down the block from Bat Haus. Stay at the rear of the train and take the Starr Street exit. Once you get through the turnstiles, take one of the exits on the left; Bathaus will be about half a block up on the left, next to the Tortilleria Mexicano Los Hermanos.

If you come by cab, ask the driver to take you to Wyckoff Avenue and Starr Street in Bushwick.

McCarren Hotel & Pool

160 N 12th St, Brooklyn, NY 11249, United States
(718) 218-7500

Just a hop and a skip from our venue (a couple stops away on the L, walkable if you're enterprising), this funky hotel is located right in the heart of Williamsburg, right across from McCarren Park, and near all manner of restaurants, bars, and things to do.

Two stops from Manhattan, to boot!

Wythe Hotel

80 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11249, United States
(718) 460-8000

Close to the Williamsburg waterfront (and walking distance from the McCarren Hotel), this converted factory is fun, funky, and a five minute walk from Williamsburg's main strip, Bedford Avenue.

Two stops from Manhattan, just a few stops from the venue!

The Jane

113 Jane St, New York, NY 10014, USA
212.914.6700

If you prefer to do things Manhattan style, the Jane is a great option on the outskirts of the West Village (approximately half a block from the Hudson River waterfront). Be advised: some of the rooms require that you share a bathroom, but the place is super snazzy, the prices are good, and the location is stellar.

W New York - Union Square

201 Park Ave S, New York, NY 10003, 201 Park Ave S, New York, NY 10003, USA

It's fancy! It's at Union Square! It's just down the road from the Strand, and on top of one of our biggest transit hubs!

Hotel Edison

228 W 47th St, New York, NY 10036, USA

This one's in midtown, near the Theater District. This one is a personal favorite of Michael's family, so you know it must be good!

Holiday Inn Express Manhattan Times Square South

60 W 36th St, New York, NY 10018, USA

We'll be staying at this one ourselves after Michael's company holiday party--great location, reliable chain!
