We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire. Please consider the weather when choosing your outfit, whether that means carrying an extra layer for a chillier evening or remembering to bring your sunglasses! Please also rethink the stilettos, as you should expect to walk across gravel and grass.
Will the wedding be taking place indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting, the ceremony and dinner will be taking place outdoors.
What's the plan regarding COVID?
As of May 19th, New York State has lifted all COVID restrictions that would apply to our wedding. Masks will be optional for guests during our wedding, both outdoors and indoors. You will not be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test result. We are incredibly grateful for the availability of multiple vaccines allowing us to celebrate safely in-person. Weather permitting, our ceremony and dinner will be held outdoors, and cocktail hour and dancing will be indoors in a well-ventilated barn. We will have hand sanitizer stations placed throughout the venue and we encourage frequent hand washing. Waitstaff and bartenders will be wearing masks. Our number one priority is that everybody feels comfortable, so we encourage you to do what's best for yourself–absolutely no judgement! Please don't hesitate to reach out to us at any time if you have any questions or concerns.
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin at 4:15pm on the dot. We kindly ask guests to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to grab a drink and find a seat.
Will there be a shuttle to the wedding from the Sleep Inn?
Yes! The shuttle will be making two trips to Blooming Hill Farm - the first at 3:30pm and the final at 3:45pm. Please meet in the lobby at The Sleep Inn and follow signage for the Allman/Steren wedding. If you have any questions, the front desk will be able to direct you.
Will there be a shuttle back to the Sleep Inn from the wedding?
Also yes! For guests who would like to leave the reception early, the first shuttle will depart the wedding at 9:30pm for The Sleep Inn. Shuttles will run about every 10-15 minutes until 10:30pm.
Will there be parking?
There are plenty of spots available at Blooming Hill Farm, and there will be a parking attendant on site to direct you.
Is Blooming Hill Farm handicap accessible?
Yes, the farm is handicap accessible. For those who need it, a golf cart will be on hand to help with transportation.
Is there Uber in the area?
Yes there is, but rides are more scarce than you may be used to in cities. A better option is to go the old-school route and call a taxi company! Geo Taxi Service (845-213-5639), Village Taxi (845-783-6112) and Speedy Car Service (845-783-6651) will be on call for service.
