Lily Dales - Maid of Honor

Lily and SK have been best friends for 12 years, following a 7th grade science fair project where they built a Cat-a-pult (cat themed catapult). Though the Cat-a-pult was 99% constructed by Lee Hatcher, the collaborative act of tricking Lee into doing the assignment built a strong foundation for a lasting friendship. The girls have spent the last decade together traveling, conniving, cooking, hot tubbing, binge watching Twilight, making memories, and loving one another unconditionally. SK is so thrilled to have her partner in crime by her side on the big day. Cheers to decades more of debauchery together!

Tucker Freeman - Best Man

Tucker and SK have known each other since the day they were born. They spent their toddlerhood as across-the-street neighbors and became like siblings. Tucker and SK were a duo for 18 years, but when Tucker and Connor met, their duo became a trio. Eventually Tucker and Connor formed a duo of their own, and anyone who sees them together knows they have become family, too. The three spend weekends together playing golf, hanging out, and cracking each other up. There is no one imaginable who would be a better fit to stand with SK and Connor on their big day. Thank you Tucker, for being our brother and friend!

Courtney Fetter

Courtney has been the world's greatest sister to Connor: unwaveringly supportive, a great listener, relentlessly funny, and persistent in her optimism. Courtney and Connor are a rare pair of siblings who did not fight in childhood and seldom argue now. They are a perfect embodiment of the relationship Connor and SK want their children to someday have. Courtney has accepted SK as a friend and sister with open arms, and SK is so thrilled to have her as a bridesmaid. We love you sis!

Carlos Joglar

Carlos and SK have known each other since the age of 3. In pre-k together, the two could be seen (somewhat violently) fighting over a pink dress in the class costume station. The two went to school together for 11 years, but have only become closer in adulthood. Carlos is a phenomenal musician, and SK is his full-on groupie. Anyone who knows them sees how much love there is in this two-decade-old friendship. Cheers to many more! PS: keep your hands off the dress--this one's mine.

Emily Fernandez Streidl

Emily and SK met in fifth grade Model United Nations (allegedly). Though SK has no recollection of this meeting and is simply taking Emily's word for it, their reunion in high school sparked a lifelong friendship. Emily and SK planned their weddings in conjunction, and have had the best time supporting each other in the endeavor. They also attend a Hot Barre and yoga workout class together three times a week, and have witnessed one another both soaked in sweat and in their wedding dresses. Thank you for being such an incredible friend, Em.

Joey Michael

Joey is Connor's oldest friend. The stories of their childhood border on unbelievable: from catching animals to scouting and lacrosse to many of their many outdoor adventures, these two never ceased to bring laughter (and occasionally concern) to those around them. Their friendship has persisted through countless phases of life, so it is an honor to have Joey in the wedding party. Thank you Joey, for all the formative adventures and memories.

Jennifer Horlick

Jennifer and SK became fast friends in high school, and spent their teen years together in Jennifers car "Rochester" jamming out to their broadway playlist. Jennifer, Lily, and SK were seen together each weekend attending musicals, pranking theater boys, and indulging in their annual Cici's pizza night (and subsequent food poisoning). They got each other through high school and are back in the cycle, getting each other through grad school. Love you Jin-i-4!

Nolan Graham

Nolan and Connor met in their freshman year of high school and have been up to no good ever since. Though many of their text conversations begin with Nolan texting SK, saying "hey, tell your fiance to respond to me", the two fall right back into things the second they are together. Nolan is a spectacular friend to both SK and Connor and is one of the most fun people in their lives. Connor is selective with the stories he shares of their shenanigans, but he can't get through one without bursting into laughter. Thanks for all the memories, Nolan! Let's make some more!

Sarah Panickacherry

Sarah and SK have been friends since their sophomore year of High School. Some of SK's fondest memories from Ursuline were on the stage with Sarah. They are the type of friends who can go a month without remembering to text, but the second they see each other, they instantly reconnect. Sarah's love and support is boundless; she brightens every situation and has brought laughter and joy to SK more times than one could count. Thank you Sarah, for your unwavering friendship and for filling my life with so much love!

Jared Gill

Jared has been a steadfast friend to Connor and SK since the first week of college. Many of their best memories of undergrad were eating in Mac’s Place together at midnight contemplating life, history and politics; sitting around Jared's dorm while SK lost Rage Cage; and watching SMU football lose, then win, then lose again. Ranging anywhere from deviant to extremely wholesome, our time with you is always special. Thank you for all the nights out on the town, and relentlessly making us rally when we're tired (it's always worth it). Jared, we are so thankful for this friendship and love you dearly!

Emmaline Dyer

Emmaline came into SK and Connor's lives in 2020, when their friend Tim started dating this amazing girl they just had to meet. The girls quickly fell into a deep friendship full of love, laughter, and sending tik toks back and forth. Emmaline and SK co-own a team in the boy's fantasy football league, having selected their players based exclusively on looks (this team has lovingly been named "welovefeetball"). Needless to say, they are not doing well. Emmaline is one of the kindest, most genuine people Connor and SK know. We are so thankful for your friendship, Emmaline!

Tim Smith

Tim met SK and Connor freshman year of college, where for six months, they had tea together every afternoon in their dorm hallway. Tim was a trumpet player in the SMU band; though he will never play for his friends (leaving them suspicious that he faked it for four years), it always brought joy to see him stomp across the field in his fun outfits. You can catch SK, Connor, Tim, and Emmaline screaming at each other during board games and cheering on the stangs, most weekends. We hope you stomp down the aisle with as much pizzazz as the football field!

Palmer Embry

Palmer and SK first met when SK was moving into her dorm room and spotted Palmer moving in across the hall. Little did she know that borrowing a hammer would lead to being lifelong friends. Connor and Palmer met later that week and formed a very special bond of their own. SK recruited Connor and Palmer to be leaders of a 7th grade boys small group at her church. The three of them have continued this commitment for nearly seven years, with Connor and Palmer leading their (sometimes crazy, sometimes angelic) boys together. Palmer, we are so thankful that you have been with us from the beginning and are so blessed to see you each and every week.

Bella Fuzer

Connor and Bella met during the first week of college, and after getting close to SK too, knew the two girls would be fast friends. He set SK and Bella up on a friend date and they bonded on site. Between their love of theater, Royal China, their faith, dumb jokes, and bullying Connor, there is never a moment unoccupied by laughter. We love you so much and are grateful for your love and support!

Emerson Phipps

SK and Emerson went to church together most of their lives, and became friends in their senior years, knowing they would attend the same university. Somewhat randomly, their junior and senior years of college, Connor and Emerson lived together–where despite Connor’s crazy cleanliness and Emerson’s inability to put a dish in the dishwasher, Emerson and Connor became close friends. Connor and Emerson were stuck together through some of the most challenging times of their lives: electrical engineering finals, the great Texas Freeze of 2020, and Covid lockdowns. We love you so much Emerson and are so thankful for your persistent love and friendship.

Courtney Conner

A month into college, SK’s roommate left SMU. The result was a beautiful, clean room that SK had all to herself. After one mere week alone, a girl knocked on the door and said “I hear you have an empty bed in here and my roommate is a nightmare. Any chance I can move in?” And thus began a beautiful friendship. Courtney and SK lived in harmony that neither had experienced before or since: a perfectly matched pair brought together by fate and two prior nightmare living situations. Courtney, we love you so much. Connor has massive roommate shoes to fill!
