What airport do I fly in to?
PLS- Providenciales Turks and Caicos. If flying from California on a connecting flight, we highly recommend that you catch a redeye flight to Turks & Caicos. This will prevent you from waisting a whole day of your vacation on travel alone.
Do I need to rent a car in Turks & Caicos?
No, it is not necessary to rent a car, transportation is included to and from the airport with your stay at Beaches Resort.
Do I need a passport to travel to Turks & Caicos?
Yes, a valid passport is required for travel to Turks and Caicos. If you need to renew or apply for a new passport, please do so several months in advance. Your passport must be valid up to at least six months after travel dates (valid until at least November 10, 2025).
What type of clothing should I bring to wear daily?
Think light, airy and loose. You can't go wrong with linen. Men usually wear t-shirts and shorts, women typically wear bathing suits, wraps, and sundresses.
What is the attire for the welcome party?
We are asking guests to wear any shade of blue to the welcome party on Saturday 5/3. Attire is casual resort wear.
What should I wear to the wedding?
Be cool and comfortable, but just not anything white. Think brunch or garden attire: linen pants, short-sleeved button downs, maxi dresses, and sandals. We kindly ask that you save your jeans, T-shirts, and old navy flip flops for another occasion.
Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing to the ceremony?
We ask that guests do not wear white on the day of the wedding.
What time should I arrive at the wedding?
All guests and wedding party members will meet at the Veranda House no later than 4:30pm and will be escorted to the ceremony site by the wedding coordinator.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Not during the ceremony. This is an unplugged Ceremony. We kindly ask you to turn off your cameras and cellular phones and be in the moment with us. Please provide the photographer ample space to make magic without body parts and electronic devices interrupting each shot. You will have multiple opportunities to take pictures. Please follow the direction of the officiant. Reception….Snap away! We encourage you take tons of pictures and tag them using our wedding hashtag #oncloudcalhoun so we can easily find them. While we do welcome our guests to take their own pics/videos, we do ask that you respect the photographer and videographer by not blocking their path or view.
Is Beaches All-Inclusive?
Yes. All meals and beverages are included in your stay with 20 restaurants and 15 bars to choose from.
Do I need to bring cash for tipping?
Absolutely not! All gratuity is included in your stay at Beaches.
Can I bring alcohol with me to the island?
Customs allows each person to bring 1 Liter of alcohol or 2 Liters of wine. Beaches is an all-inclusive resort with several bars therefore you don’t need too bring alcohol unless you want some special type of liquor they don’t offer.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Please respond accordingly when you RSVP. There will be a question and response regarding dietary restrictions.
Can I bring my children?
Absolutely! We are so excited that you are coming with us to celebrate our wedding in Turks & Caicos and we would love for you to use our wedding as an excuse for a family vacation so feel free to bring your little ones along. Some people may decide to treat this as a family vacation others might need some alone time.
What activities does Beaches offer for children, tweens and teens?
There are plenty of activities for children of all ages. Please see the Beaches website or this link: https://www.beaches.com/activities/kids-camp/
Is there babysitting available on-site?
Yes. There is a kids club for children as well as certified nanny services for children under 2 yers old and care for children with special needs.
How can we communicate with you and Turks and Caicos?
The hotel has Wi-Fi so as long as you are connected to the Wi-Fi you will be able to text both the bride and groom. You can also message us through Facebook or WhatsApp.
How will you communicate any updated information and/or changes before the wedding?
If anything changes, we will update the homepage of this website. Please check the wedding website the day of the ceremony in case whether or other technical issues affect our original plan.
