Are there any passport restrictions or requirements when traveling to Spain?
We recommend that you make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the time of travel to Spain to be cautious. You must have a valid passport for 3 months beyond your date of departure to enter Spain. For US citizens, there is currently no visa required to enter Spain or other EU countries in the Schengen zone.
Is there anything else I should know about travel documents?
No, not currently. The ETIAS EU requirements have been pushed back to Q4 of 2026, so we are safe from the additional fees this year. There are no requirements other than a visa if you're traveling from a country that requires one to enter Spain.
When Should I arrive in Seville?
Many of our friends and family will plan to explore and enjoy the city before or after the wedding. We recommend arriving before the Welcome Dinner on June 2 to enjoy more time with wedding guests. We recommend spending at least 3-4 days in Seville.
Where Should I Stay in Seville?
There are several beautiful hotels and villa rentals in Seville. We have recommended different hotel options in various price ranges in the Travel section of our website. They are all relatively close to the center of the city and within driving or walking distance to the welcome dinner and wedding venue. Please choose whichever hotel option fits your budget and needs.
Where is the wedding venue in relation to the city? And how do we get there?
The venue is close to the city center, within walking distance of Plaza de Espana and other landmarks. We will be providing transportation via buses on the day of the wedding. We will keep all wedding guests posted on the itinerary and stops.
What Should I Wear To The Welcome Event?
The welcome event will be a cocktail party the night before the wedding. We recommend that you wear a cocktail dress (short or midi length), summer suit without a tie, or button down shirt and slacks.
What Should I wear to the wedding?
The wedding will be a black-tie event that takes place both inside of the historic house and the gardens outside of the house. We ask that our guests wear a floor-length dress or a tuxedo or formal suit with a tie or bowtie of any color you wish. The theme is "black tie garden party" and bridesmaids will be wearing an assortment of metallic pastel colors.
