There are TONS of fun places to shop and eat in Downtown Boise! Especially for those who haven't been to Idaho before, we definitely recommend checking it out.
Another fun feature of Downtown is Freak Alley - a free, open-air gallery that showcases the work of local artists. It is located in the alley between the blocks of Idaho St. and Bannock St.
There are TONS of hiking trails in the foothills around the Boise area.
We recommend Camel's Back Park or Table Rock (both of which can be found with a quick Google search!).
Table Rock is steep, but has a great view of the valley as a reward.
Camel's Back has easier trails and more difficult trails, and offers some dog off-leash options as well.

Bogus Basin is our local ski hill - but in the summer there are still plenty of things to do! You can hike and mountain bike, as well as ride their Mountain Coaster and test your strength and trust with their ropes course!

Idaho has a variety of vineyards, and if you have a day to spend touring the different spots, we promise you won't regret it!
Our favorite is Ste. Chapelle!
The Village is a great place to spend some time! Tons of fun stores and restaurants to visit, as well as a movie theater. Plus, an awesome fountain show at the top of every hour!
The Boise Hawks are our local baseball team! They have home games June 7th, June 8th (but you'll be busy that night ;) ), June 9th, and June 11th-16th, depending on how long you are staying.
Boise State was the first non-green artificial turf, which makes us famous! You can walk around campus and visit The Blue M-F from 10am-4pm.
