Sophia and Devon's first trip together... This trip could arguably be described as the spark of it all. Sophia took a chance to have a cool new experience with a stranger and Devon took a chance inviting a strange new girl from Oregon to hang out with some of his best friends. I think you can guess that it was a great trip ;)

Fully embracing Portland's Bike Summer, Devon and Sophia stripped down and geared up for the Annual Naked Bike Ride.

Sophia and Devon go Tandem! Our first bike prom and we got a tandem bike together, our first big purchase as a couple. We still have the bike and it's cooler than it's ever been!

Sophia and Devon move in together. After just three months of dating Devon learned that the Semenskys like to move fast. Dima and Oksana helped us move in and we had a great time getting to know each other.

Sophia and Devon go on their first big international trip together to Patagonia in southern Chile. We traveled for about two weeks and backpacked Torres Del Paine National Park for 8 days. A trip of a lifetime!

Devon visits Florida for the first time, where Thanksgiving means warm weather, pool parties, and theme parks.

The Semenskys fly to Utah for the Christmas holidays! This is the first time both families were able to meet each other, and we had a blast on the slopes, at the Chihuahua, and spending time together.

In January Sophia and Devon adopted Lilo. Best decision ever! Becoming dog parents was a fun, challenging, and rewarding experience, and allowed us to expand our little family. If you haven't met Lilo, be sure to keep an eye out for her at the wedding! ;)

Devon's first Christmas in Florida! Featuring us wearing the classic Ukrainian vyshyvankas.

A burst pipe in the house spurs a six-months long renovation, led by Project Manager Devon. Everyone chips in when they visit, including Dima, Oksana, and Nichol, the tile expert!

Daniel & Camila move to Washington! We get to spend lots more time with family, with many Pacific Northwest adventures ahead.

Devon and Sophia celebrate Dima's birthday with Oksana in Scotland! It was a wonderful trip full of whiskey, foggy landscapes, historic cities, and amazing hikes!

And on that trip, Devon proposed to Sophia in the Scottish Highlands, with the sun coming out after a hike of intense rain, roaring winds, and very wet clothes. The rest of the trip was spent as fiances!

Oksana and Dima's first time backpacking was a blast! We got to spend time together as a family, with Nichol, Joey, and other friends joining in, as well as take in some epic views, hard trails, and even an intense thunderstorm that flooded half our tents. Not pictured: a family celebration with plenty of margaritas and tacos post-trip! We can't wait to celebrate with all of our families at the wedding very soon!
