The wedding will take place at Louland Falls at Highway 80, Exit 131 (westbound only), Salt Lake City, UT 84109.
What are the directions to the venue?
Coming from Salt Lake City, head east on I-80. Take exit #132. From there, take a left on the bridge, and another left to get back on I-80 heading westbound. Take the westbound exit #131 exit. Take a left over the bridge and a right through the gate. Follow the road for approximately a quarter mile to the main parking area.
What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?
The venue is best accessible by car. We recommend taking Uber or Lyft if you plan to drink. Otherwise, we recommend driving. Please assign a designated driver if you plan to drink!
Is there parking available?
Yes, free parking is available onsite. Some parking spots may be a 5 minute walk from the venue. If you have mobility concerns, there are spots available closer to the main entrance.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony, dinner, and dance party will all take place outdoors. However, an indoor space is available with seating, if you need to escape the heat!
Attire
What is the dress code?
Come get fancy with us! The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies, think knee or floor length dresses or jumpsuits. Men, think lightweight suits or dress pants with a button-down; blazers and ties are optional. Wear something that feels festive and comfortable for an outdoor setting in July. Bright colors are encouraged!
What is the weather and climate like in the area?
July in Salt Lake can be hot and dry! While our event is in the evening, make sure to dress in summer-appropriate attire. Note that short afternoon thunderstorms are not uncommon.
Out-of-town Guests
How should I get to Salt Lake City?
We recommend flying into Salt Lake City International Airport, which is about a 10 minute drive or 25 minute train ride from downtown.
Where should I stay?
If your priority is to be close to the venue, we recommend staying in a hotel or Airbnb in the Millcreek or Sugarhouse neighborhoods. The venue recommends the Hampton Inn & Suites at University-Foothill Dr, which is about a 15 minute drive from the venue. You will be able to Uber to and from the airport and the venue, but restaurants and stores will not be in walking distance. Alternatively, you could stay in downtown Salt Lake City, which has a train connection from the airport and more walkable amenities. Staying downtown would be a 20-25 minute drive from the venue.
Do I need to rent a car?
If you are coming just for the wedding, you will be able to use rideshare (Uber/Lyft). However, renting a car would be advantageous if you want to explore Salt Lake's beautiful mountains or if you have a larger group.
Food & Drink
What type of food will be served at the wedding?
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet-style dinner. Vegan and gluten free options are available by request; please note this in your RSVP.
Will there be an open bar?
There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, and will include beer, wine, and signature cocktails. Shots are not allowed at the venue. Please refrain from bringing in any outside drinks.
Registry & Gifts
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we would appreciate funds to help us with our honeymoon to Japan. If you do wish to send a physical gift, you can have it delivered to Nichol Quinonez at 418 W 2350 S Bountiful, UT 84010. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?
You can find our complete wedding registry here on our website (and purchase directly from our wish list) under the "Registry" tab.

Are there other activities the week of the wedding?
On Wednesday, July 2, we will host an outdoor lunch for all invitees to gather, socialize, and spend time with us! We understand that this falls in the middle of the week, so attendance is in no way mandatory. However, we would love to use this opportunity to spend more time with you! Additional details are TBD.
