Our Wedding

Our StoryIt all started on August 31, 2018, in the halls of Benilde-St. Margaret’s. Nate saw/ spotted me and decided to send a Snapchat. I saw it... and never answered (oops).That night, I was hosting a party when a guy from another school asked where I went to school. I said, “Benilde,” and he said he knew a guy from there—Nate Schweitzer—because they played hockey with each other growing up. Then I realized that Nate had just Snapchatted me! After nearly 12 hours, I finally replied with a picture and a casual “hello.”We officially met a week later at the first football game of the year—talked the entire second half—and went on our first date two days after, at James J. Hill Days in Wayzata on September 9, 2018.And just like that... seven years later, here we are—getting married!They say when you know, you know—and we knew.

Both will be held at Bearpath Country Club. No need to travel between locations.Q: What time should I arrive?A: The ceremony starts at 5:00 PM—please arrive by 4:45 PM to be seated.Q: What’s the weather like?A: Late June in Minnesota is usually warm and sunny. Keep an eye on the forecast, and dress accordingly for indoor/outdoor transitions.Q: Will there be transportation provided?A: No shuttles will be provided. You’re welcome to drive yourself, or we recommend using Uber/Lyft if you’d prefer not to drive.Q: Is there a hotel block?A: Yes! We’ve reserved rooms at two hotels—click the “Travel” tab for booking detailsQ: How does the gate work for weddings at Bearpath Country Club?A: When you arrive at Bearpath, please use the far-left lane nearest the gatehouse. Let the guard know you’re here for the wedding and share your name, OR use the QR code available on our wedding website under "Gate Pass." You’ll already be on the approved guest list, so the guard will welcome you in. We recommend arriving early, as there may be delays or backups at the gate.If you’re using Uber or Lyft, tell your driver to use the left lane and mention the wedding at the gatehouse.
