Utah is home to a variety of landscapes. June is a perfect time to venture into the mountains. We will have a complete list of activities and things to do as the wedding gets closer. Many out of our town guests are interested in exploring the Mighty Five (our 5 national parks) which each have unique beauty and trails. Just know that June is peak tourist season and really hot! Prepare ahead with sun protective clothing, electrolytes and a lot of water.

If you are coming in from out of town the closest city to the venue is Ogden. Salt Lake City has a wider variety of options for accommodations and where we are located. Please consult the travel section of our website. If you are local or interested in camping we will be providing a campsites.

Please reach out to us if someone was not on the invitation but you would like to bring them. We are aiming to keep the wedding somewhat intimate and our venue has a limit to the amount of people we can accommodate.

In Utah, June indicates the start of our summer heat. Although it is typically still mild and tends to stay in the 80s or lower. The venue is in a wooded area at higher elevation so expect slightly cooler temperatures especially as the sun goes down.

We are getting married at a small county park near the tiny town of Huntsville, Utah. It is approximately 20 minutes from Aaron’s hometown of Mountain Green, Utah. The closet city is Ogden, Utah which is approximately 40 minutes to Salt Lake City Airport. The venue is about 1 hour from Salt Lake City.

June in Salt Lake City is the ideal time to explore the vast mountains that Utah has to offer. We suggest flying in the week before and spending a few days exploring!

We are planning a rehearsal dinner at Aaron’s childhood home on Friday June 20th. This will only be for our families and our out of town guests.
