We first met on Padma Beach, just a stone's throw from where we'll soon exchange our vows. Introduced by a mutual friend (thanks, Bleronk), Sophie was reassured that Corok would help her catch some waves. Instead, he cheekily claimed them all for himself.
Two years later, he's gotten a bit better at sharing waves and has happily embraced the idea that marrying Sophie means a lifetime of hanging her wetsuit out to dry, and enduring pasta-filled dinners. Sophie, in turn, accepts that marrying Corok means he will always find the most inopportune moments to film her and share on social media (like the countless times in the dentist’s chair with her mouth hanging open).
Our proposal took place early one Saturday morning, with our friend Amber hiding in the bushes, camera in hand, ready to capture the moment.
