La Poggiolaia is located in the countryside around Florence, about a 50-minute drive from the city.

The nearest airport is Florence, alternatively you can land in Rome.

From Rome you can rent a car and drive to the location, or you can take a train and get to Florence station where you will find some cabs available.

Our advice is to rent a car, this will allow you to move around freely, especially if you want to explore the region after the wedding.

On the other hand, if your main interest is Italian cities then trains will be fine because there are very efficient lines connecting Italian cities.
