One of the most historic trattorias in Florence where we recommend you eat the bistecca Fiorentina, or Florentine steak, which is a prized fillet famous for its very high quality. We advise you to arrive hungry because the smallest cut is 1 kg and 600

TRATTORIA 13 GOBBI - Via del Porcellana 9

Absolutely one of the restaurants you CANNOT miss in Florence. It is a historic trattoria, where the cuisine follows traditional recipes and the atmosphere is typical Tuscan. Again, the Florentine steak is not to be missed!

However, do not forget to accompany it with a very good Chianti or Tuscan red wine.

RISTORANTE IL LATINI - Via dei Palchetti 6

This trattoria is mentioned in all local food and wine guides. It is extremely famous for its traditional Tuscan cuisine, here the dish we think you cannot miss is the famous "peposo" or a stew of fine Tuscan meat cooked for hours at low temperature. A true delicacy.

ALL'ANTICO VINAIO - Via dei neri 65

The Antico Vinaio is a true legend not only in Florence but throughout Italy. Here they make the famous "schiacciate" of florence, or crispy focaccia sandwiches with a filling of your choice of local products...cold cuts, cheeses, sauces...all Tuscan products of the highest quality. What makes it unique is the abundance with which these sandwiches are usually filled. Arm yourself with patience though...the line is always very long, but the goodness of the sandwiches is worth every minute you wait.

CAFFE' GILLI - Via Roma 1

Gilli is one of the most historic cafes in Florence, what really captivated us were its historic interior rooms, the kindness of the waiters and the elegance of the surroundings.

But of course we recommend this place for a delicious cappuccino and croissant breakfast, but also a very sweet coffee break.

ATRIUM BAR - Four Season Firenze

If you want a more elegant and chic experience, we recommend this little gem of a bar for an aperitif that will surprise you. Here they make cocktails of the highest quality, there is a study of flavors and pairings behind each recipe, and you will be surprised by the originality of the choices. One proposal we loved is their aperitif box, where they will surprise you with food and cocktail pairings.

GELATERIA DEI NERI - Via dei neri 9

Traveling to Italy and not eating ice cream would really be an immeasurable mistake. Florence and every Italian city is teeming with gelaterias, but this gelateria was recommended to us and we recommend it to you because we loved it. Its artisanal recipes make all the flavors stand out, and the use of the highest quality products makes these gelatos truly unbeatable.
