Soon! October is a very busy month in Austin. While there are fewer major events the weekend of our wedding, hotels do anticipate high capacity, so we recommend booking as early as you can.

The Addison Grove is about 30 mins from downtown (depending on traffic). There are lots of hotels in the Austin area! We have room blocks for our guests at hotels closer to the venue, but you are welcome to book wherever you'd like!

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside; the reception will be indoors with continued access to the exterior space. Guests will need to walk from the parking area to the ceremony site and then to cocktail hour and the reception. Each site is paved, though there may be uneven paving stones or dirt walkways between each site. Guests will not need to walk on grass - unless they want to say hello to the resident longhorns!

October can still be hot in Texas! Plan for the low 80s during the day and for cooler temperatures at night.

We hear it's good luck! If it rains, all events will be moved under cover. The bus drop-off and parking lot are uncovered, so please plan accordingly.

Yes! We are providing shuttles from the reserved hotels to the venue and back. You do not have to take the shuttles: our venue assures us that ride shares are readily available to transport guests back from the wedding to whatever your destination may be. Shuttle Schedule: 04:00PM: Bus picks up at aloft Hotel 04:15PM: Bus picks up at A/C Hotel 09:00PM: Bus departs from venue, will drop off at both hotels 11:00PM: Final departure from venue, will drop off at both hotels

Yes, plenty! Cars can be left at the venue until 10AM the following day; any vehicles left beyond that time are subject to tow at the owner's expense.

Austin is wonderful, but our public transportation leaves a lot to be desired. Renting a car will give you a lot of flexibility to explore the area! However, ride shares are another great option: Lyft and Uber are the most common in the area. The venues for our events are not within walking distance from the hotels, and, generally speaking, Austin is not a very walkable city outside of the downtown area.
