The Powerhouse Park also features a barefoot friendly, dog free "tot lot," where kids can play on swings, slides, and climb. North Beach, affectionately called "Dog Beach" by dog owners, is located north of 29th Street and stretches nearly one half mile to our border with Solana Beach.

Every soccer tournament, the Johnson Family would roll into the race track and Dave would give each kid a 20 dollar bill. We then ran to the betting windows to place our bets on the horses with the most creative names and no other criteria. While you are there, pick up some nachos and enjoy the ocean view from the stands.
