Hike to One of Georgia’s Best Views!
If you’re up for a little adventure, this short but rewarding hike takes you to Georgia’s second-highest peak at 4,696 feet! The 3.2-mile round-trip trail winds through a beautiful rhododendron forest and ends at a historic fire tower with incredible 360° views of the Appalachian Mountains. It’s about a 30-minute drive from Clayton—plan for 2.5-4 hours to take it all in!

With winding hiking paths, scenic overlooks, and plenty of picnic spots, it’s a great place to soak in the beauty of North Georgia.
