We are so excited to welcome our friends and family from near and far to our little corner of the world in Northeast Georgia! We are situated relatively equidistant from 3 major airports - Atlanta, GA; Greenville, SC; and Asheville, NC (all roughly 2 hours from Tallulah Falls, GA).
Our venue, Terra Incognita, is a vineyard on a mountain top, and is somewhat remote. It will take roughly 30-45 minutes to drive from any of the below lodging recommendations to and from the wedding, so please plan accordingly. We will provide complimentary shuttles to and from the wedding from select locations below. More details TBA.
For an alternative lodging experience, you are welcome to camp at our venue for the night of the wedding. There is limited space and amenities, but it is a welcomed option for those that are up for it! Please reach out to Kyle or Spencer if you want to explore this option.
Use the link here to reserve your room from our room block. Though we locked in a guaranteed rate, we cannot guarantee availability. We recommend booking early!
We will provide shuttles to and from the wedding from Bridge Creek Inn! More details TBA.
This is a cute B&B right in Clayton. Option to take the wedding shuttle from Bridge Creek Inn.
This is a beautiful small Inn right in downtown Clayton. Option to take the wedding shuttle from Bridge Creek Inn (located just around the block).
This is a more budget-friendly option
A charming and historic mountain inn, Lake Rabun Hotel offers cozy, rustic-luxe accommodations with a touch of Southern hospitality. As the closest hotel to our venue, it’s a convenient and beautiful place to stay, with an on-site restaurant and easy access to the lake and nearby trails. Perfect for a relaxing getaway!
There are lots of vacations rentals in the area surrounding our venue. We recommend searching for rentals in or around Clayton, Tiger, Lakemont, and Lake Rabun/Lake Seed.
NOTE: If you decide to stay in an Airbnb, you would still be welcome to utilize the shuttles from select locations to get to and from the wedding! Otherwise, please keep in mind that our venue requires a drive along a 1.5 mile mountain dirt road!
Getting Around
If you’re flying in and plan to explore, we highly recommend renting a car for your stay. While there is a shuttle service (Georgia Shuttle) that runs from Atlanta to Clayton, rideshare options like Uber are unavailable, and taxis are limited. Having a car will make it much easier to visit all the great spots Rabun County has to offer!
Georgia Shuttle operates a shuttle service that runs from the Atlanta airport to downtown Clayton (right next to the Bridge Creek Inn). Since we'll be providing shuttles to the Welcome Party and Wedding, it would be feasible to get away without renting a car if you're making a quick trip. Georgia Shuttle also operates a Loop shuttle that runs to some of Clayton's top destinations.
