The wedding party (those that have significant roles during the wedding ceremony) along with their significant others and children, as well as the grandparents are all invited to have dinner with us Friday evening before the wedding in Monticello. There will be a provided dinner as well as a drink ticket. All other guests are welcome to eat dinner on the other side of the venue at this time (or another restaurant of their choosing, see "Things to Do" tab). After 7pm, we invite all guests to come join us at this venue, where there will likely be live music and dancing!

1. What to wear Men: A suit or dress pants and a sport's jacket, paired with a dress shirt, tie, & belt Women: A dress, dressy jumpsuit, or pantsuit Shoes: Sleek sneakers in neutral colors or materials like leather or suede. Nice boots or wedges. 2. What to avoid Jeans, t-shirts, & polos Ball gowns & tuxedos High heel shoes/stilettos (The ground will be uneven in spots, alternating between gravel, grass, and concrete)

We will be eating dinner in our newly remodeled machine shed, approximately 100ft from where the ceremony will take place. This is where we will also enjoy toasts, speeches and first dances.

Please enjoy our live, local to Iowa City, bluegrass stringband: Flash in a Pan! This is a band recommended to the couple by a good friend for their high energy stage presence. We are very excited to have them play for us, so please, come over to our dance floor outside a neighboring machine shed and dance the night away with us!
