The San Francisco Bay is served by three major airports - San Francisco International (SFO), Mineta San Jose (SJC), and Oakland International (OAK). SFO is by far the largest of the three and will offer the widest selection of flights. It is about 25 minutes north of Palo Alto, at the midpoint between the city of San Francisco and the wedding venue. SJC is also a good option for getting into the Bay. It is an efficient, midsize airport (similar to Midway in Chicago) and is only 25 minutes south of the wedding venue. (SJC is also a great option if you are continuing onto Hawaii after the wedding.) We wouldn't recommend flying into OAK as it's over an hour away.
The ceremony and reception will be held in the center of Stanford's pedestrian-oriented campus. You'll have to park on the periphery and then have a 5 minute walk to the Church. We recommend using "Stanford Oval" as your target destination on Apple/Google Maps. This will take you through the palm-lined front entryway to campus, and there should be ample parking available around the Oval itself. In the (unlikely) event that there are no spots available along the Oval, there are multiple overflow parking lots off Palm Drive. If you have mobility issues and need to park closer to campus, please reach out to us and we can arrange for a placard to drive onto the campus.
