Recommend booking a pass online in advance and getting to the park early. It gets pretty busy, especially around summertime. Be prepared for all elements of weather! You can drive through the park and stop in certain areas. There are TONS of great hikes.

Lake Estes is surrounded by breathtaking mountain and valley views. There is also a playground for endless activities. If fishing is what you seek, Lake Estes Marina offers a boat launch ramp plus fishing boat rentals. They sell fishing licenses and supplies on site as well. A 4-mile paved trail boarders the lake allowing access to great fishing off the shore. There are activities for the non-anglers in the family. The trail is great for biking and walking.
