Stefani's Perspective

I first met Dennis in the Seatac airport while I was traveling home to see my family. I'm one of those travelers that doesn't want people talking to me, and here comes this bubbly dude that wants to know my life story. Two hours of talking later, we exchanged numbers and social media and didn't talk again for 3 years.....yep that's really what happened. 3 years later he messaged me on instagram and we picked up right where we left off. For our first date, Dennis was flying into Fort Worth with his squadron for training and he asked me to dinner. I almost didn't show up because not only was our first date not actually in Fort Worth (an hour and a half away in Plano), the roof collapsed in my apartment from a water leak. All that being said, a lot of things had to fall into place for us to have the opportunity to fall in love, and I couldn't be more thankful that God crossed our paths like he did.

Dennis's Perspective

I spotted Stefani in the SeaTac airport early one morning after traveling there from seeing my entire family in NYC, and to visit my friend Teddy who was stationed at Joint Base Louis McChord. She was wearing these really cute jeans and sneakers, and I wanted so bad to go over and talk to her, but didn’t want to be one of those creepy guys to hit on her at the airport. Lucky enough we ended up on the same shuttle to Olympia, and our friendly shuttle driver and I started a conversation that brought Stefani into it. We talked the whole way, and when we stopped to drop her off at her stop, I hopped out with her and she gave me her phone number before I was even done asking for it. The shuttle driver high-fived me when I got back in with him. I don’t remember his name or know where he is now, but he’s my hero. 	Flash forward a few years of following each other on social media and living apart from one another, I messaged Stefani on Instagram after seeing that she was vacationing at a beach on the Gulf Coast that I was just at. Since then, we haven’t stopped talking. She asked me when I would be visiting Fort Worth to take her on our first date, and ironically enough, my pilot training flight commander callsign ‘LOST’ asked me if I wanted to go cross country to Fort Worth that weekend. I laughed, quickly said yes, and told Stefani I would fly my supersonic jet trainer out on Friday to take her out that Saturday. A thousand things went right for that first date to happen, and a thousand amazing things have come from it.

Hank's Perspective

I was born on 2 October, 2020 and was an only child (no brothers or sisters) until the day my mommy picked me up Thanksgiving of that year. I was brought into a household of mommy and my Auntie Liv and Uncle Preston, it truly was a house full of love. Mommy kept face timing some guy that she seemed to love a lot and a few weeks later I got to meet him, it was my Dad! Oh my goodness I love Dad! He plays games with me all the time and feeds me extra treatos when mom's not looking. I cannot wait for my favorite humans to get married, I love them so much!!

They have been through blood, sweat, and tears together (literally, thanks ballet), and continue to have a beautiful lifelong friendship as they experience new life adventures!

Aliesha & Stef met at TCU while both being engineering majors. Flash forward to today and they both work as engineers at Lockheed Martin and are helping change the world! Aliesha has been one of Stef's closest friends throughout their many engineering problems and adventures.

Chad is Stefani’s younger brother who met Dennis in Birmingham Alabama on their second date! While Dennis was living in Columbus MS they all got to spend a lot of fun time together

Adam and Dennis met as FAIPs while in Columbus MS, and spent most of their time avoiding work to go rock climbing, race triathlons, and paddle boarding

Dennis met Tyler at the Air Force Academy their sophomore year when they both joined the Wings of Green. They were also Academy roommates together their Junior and Senior year, and now Tyler flies the F-15E Strike Eagle!

Bryan and Dennis went to the USAF Academy and were both on the Demonstration team together for the Parachute Team. Bryan flys the C-130 in Florida.

There are plenty of hotel &amp; Air Bnb options in Fort Worth! Be mindful that DFW is a large area and the distance between Dallas and Fort Worth is around 40 minutes without traffic. We recommend staying within the Fort Worth city limits. If you want to stay somewhere besides the listed locations and take the bus to/from the wedding venue, we recommend taking an uber/lyft to the hotels for bus pick up/drop off. The Stockyards are a Fort Worth staple! If you are looking to get a feel for the southern charm and wear your boots, this is the place. There are lots of bars, restaurants, and things to do in this area. They do a daily cattle drive twice a day at 11:30am and 4pm.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant!!! Cash only, only 2 things on the menu, and no reservations. Part of the experience is waiting in line with a pitcher of margs!

South Main and Magnolia are just south of downtown (5 minutes). There are LOTS of restaurants and bars to try in this area. This is the more historic area, and walking around all of these places is very doable.

This is where Stefani went to school! A beautiful campus to walk around and explore, and the very first Fuzzy's Taco Shop is located there as well.

Texas Christian University

The West 7th area is close to downtown and provides a lot of great bars and restaurants. If you are looking for a night out on the town with college style bars, this is the place for you!

America Gardens

The Fort Worth Zoo is ranked number 2 in the nation!

If you are an aviation enthusiast this is for you! This is where Stefani works. While you cannot get on site, you can drive to Lockheed and park outside to watch the planes. This is where the F-35 is made and the reserve base is home to F-16's and C-130's. Tons of aircraft fly through this base, even Air Force One!
