Almost 10 years ago now, Adam and Stefanie were in undergrad at UNCG in the Kinesiology program together. They had classes together but never got a chance to speak until one night when they each went out with their friends to a club called Limelight. Adam was friends with the DJ who had given him one of ten large glow sticks, which Stefanie had her eyes on. She walked up to Adam and introduced herself. After talking for a while, Stefanie walked away with that glow stick which accompanied her to a Halloween party that next weekend. From that moment, they were smitten with each other. Unfortunately, they were both shy and didn't pursue the other. They each went on to date other people and lost touch. Flash forward 6 years later, Adam had posted on Instagram about Freddie Freeman leaving the Braves, not knowing Stefanie was a Braves and Freeman fan herself. She messaged him back about the teams' loss and from that day on, they spoke every day. He quickly asked her on a breakfast date where it felt like no time passed between them, and shortly after, he asked Stefanie to be his girlfriend. The rest, as they say, is history. Thanks to that glow stick and Freddie Freeman, they're each with their best friend and love of their lives.
