A friendship forged in the fires of middle school social awkwardness, and tempered by a shared love of all things Japanese. James beat me 59,520 times in a particular video game and I still like the guy! That's how easy to like he is.

Stella is kind, heartwarming and compassionate. We shared many memories and moments for the past 14 years. I'm glad she found James, who shares similar qualities! I'm excited to celebrate with Stella and James as they start a new chapter in their lives.

After moving from another school district, as a new student in middle school, James was one of the first I remember having a conversation with. Since then we’ve shared many an experience together. High school band, Del Aquila, Vana’diel, learning our limits in college, and working in Japan to name a few. Throughout it all I’ve been lucky to have him as a friend.

For some people, the best thing they gain from a Master’s program is a degree, but for me it was gaining a friendship with one of the most amazing humans I’ve ever encountered. Stella made a process that is usually painful, one full of delightful memories. I introduced her to s’mores over a real fire and she introduced me to Boba. We are so excited to celebrate Stella and James!

James and I have known each other since childhood, and we also shared an unforgettable apartment in Hayward after college. Together we learned essential skills - like how to throw a good party, how to use a George Foreman grill, and how to wash dishes without flooding our kitchen. I'm honored to help celebrate James' big day!

I first met Stella when she moved to Fresno 3 years ago to complete her residency. I cannot express enough how much I admire her for everything she has accomplished over the past few years. She is the most caring doctor I have ever worked with, and the sweetest friend and colleague anyone could ask for. I am so honored to be part of such a special event in her life and can't wait to see Stella and James together at the wedding altar!

I've known James for eleven years in the academic field! I sacrificed my room for James, so he could have a position at our school. I guided James so he could be in a leadership role.

I was a lost fourth year medical student when I met Stella on an away rotation and we instantly clicked! Fate brought us back together when we ended up doing residency in the same city. Our friendship grew as we supported each other through exams, residency, and board prep. We've shared so many milestones together, and now, I’m excited to celebrate the beautiful journey of our friendship and the joy of her special day.

Having known James since childhood, James and I have been in the same friend circle and have known each other as classmates, coworkers, teammates, and traveling companions. As James was one of my groomsman not that long ago, I am thrilled to serve as his groomsman now that he is tying the knot!
