Steph and Mark met in Dublin at the World Scifi/ Fantasy Convention in 2019. Waiting in line for a panel, Mark struck up a conversation, and when he and Steph found themselves at the same panels throughout the day, he asked for her email. A quest to find stamps the next day led to shared cider, discovering a lot in common, and a kiss. Despite living on different continents, Mark and Steph spent the next year talking almost constantly, never missing a day. Mark asked Steph to move to Switzerland, and also to marry him. They live together in Bern, supervised by Milo and Kali, who insist on being part of the photos.
