When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than September 5th. If we don’t hear from you by then, we will regrettably count your lack of response as a declination.

Where will the ceremony and reception be?

The entire day will take place at the French Art Colony. Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outside on the right side of the Riverby. If it rains, the ceremony and reception will be under the pavilion to the left of the Riverby.

What time should I arrive?

We hope to start the ceremony promptly at 4:30, so please arrive 30-45 minutes ahead of time to sign the guestbook and find your seat.

Where should I park?

You may park along First Avenue in front of the venue. There is a parking lot for the Gallia County Courthouse next to the venue you which you may also park in. There are parking lots on Second Avenue and around the block that are also open to the public on the weekends.

What should I wear?

We request all our guests wear semi-formal attire. While you will be able to access the Riverby House on the property, most of the day will be spent outside. Please keep this in mind when deciding what to wear. Please no jeans or shades of white. Thank you!

Can I bring a plus one?

We are so excited to celebrate with our friends and family. We kindly request that only those listed on the invitations join us.

Can we bring our children?

We would love to have your kids celebrate with us! However, you may feel free to treat this as date night for mom and dad if you wish! Be aware that the venue is outdoors and located on a fairly busy street in Gallipolis. If you bring your children, please be diligent to watch them throughout the evening. If your child is under 2 years of age, we will not include them in the headcount unless you leave us a note when you RSVP. Children 2 years or older will have their own designated seat and will have a meal provided unless you request otherwise.

Can I take pictures?

During the ceremony, we request that everyone put their phones away and be present with us. After the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos as you wish! Post them on social with the hashtag #pattonpending so we can all see! We will also have a QR code you can scan to share all of your pictures to, which we highly recommend using! More information on this to come.

Does it matter which side of the aisle I sit on?

Nope! You can sit on either side. If you want to see more of the bride’s face, we recommend you sit on the left side. If you want a better view of the groom’s face, you should sit on the right side of the aisle.

Will there be any dietary friendly meals?

Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any allergies or need any food accommodations. We would love to be able to serve everyone!

What if I’m running late?

We would still love for you to come, but if you arrive after the start of the ceremony, please wait by the gate or inside the Riverby as not to disrupt the ceremony. You may still be able to see and hear the ceremony from the gate. There will be staff and coordinators in the area that may direct you to a seat if possible, but please wait for their instructions. Once the ceremony is over, please join us for the reception!
