Once upon a time in the year 2021, COVID played matchmaker like an overenthusiastic Cupid with hand sanitizer, and the love saga of Tyler and Stephanie began. Picture this: January 31, 2021, Thames Grove Conservation Area, where romance bloomed amidst a pandemic and winter chill.

Thanks to lockdown boredom reaching epic proportions, Tyler and Stephanie decided to stick to each other like socially-distanced glue. Their dates became a hilarious mix of Stephanie turning the kitchen into a brewery experience, Tyler transforming the basement into a mini golf haven, numerous strolls where Tyler recruited Stephanie to help him find driftwood, and Stephanie casually claiming Tyler as her "pizza companion" at Piezanos, leaving the cashier wondering if they were ordering a pizza or applying for a relationship status change.

Fast forward to 2022, Steph & Tyler took the plunge and became roommates. The move was gradually done over the course of many months, as Stephanie took her sweet time bringing all her possessions over. 2022 also brought back the return of international travel, which they took full advantage of and explored the world together.

Now, cue the drumroll for September 30, 2023, when Tyler decided to take Stephanie on a nostalgic trip back to Thames Grove Conservation Area. Little did she suspect, Tyler had a surprise up his sleeve. With a ring in hand, Tyler dropped to one knee and popped the question. Stephanie, without hesitation, said “thank you.”
