The Beginning

Austin came into my life unexpectedly and brought with him so much joy. We met on Christmas eve through Facetime (Yes, we met online). He immediately got my attention from his intentional questions and sweet smile. Four days later we were riding rollercoasters at Six Flags on our first date. It was 40 degrees outside and he was in a short sleeve. We had an amazing time eating smores and riding rides until I was literally sick, and then grabbed Fajitas for dinner. BEST DATE EVER. Since then, we’ve been inseparable. He has transformed my heart, my life, and my future. He has brought me a love I never knew existed, he has brought a kindness, I didn't know I needed. We laugh, read our bible together, and cook together. And we will be doing these things for the rest of our lives! Thank God for the gift of husbands, and love <3

Ashes to ashes,

Dust to dust,

Gods creation,

You are a must.

He blessed you with beauty,

Gifts from above,

Seeing you smile,

Showing his love.

Crepuscular rays,

Light so bright,

Looking at you,

I can venture at night.

I get to marry my best friend. You're my favorite. I loved you then. I love you now. And I'll love you forever. - Austin

I love you more,

not as in more than you love me, but as in I love you more than our worst days, more than worldly attachments and more than what the flesh and our surroundings can provide on earth. - Austin

The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. - Genesis 2:23-24

After our second date I went home and journaled: “Lord, I’m going to marry this man!” And the next morning Austin sent me his quiet time notes he had spent going through that morning, and I knew he was the one. The way he’s pursued me intently and clearly has been more than I could ever even pray for. The Lord answered all my prayers and then some. I love you - Stephanie
