"Downtown Mount Dora boasts numerous B&Bs, antique shops, specialty stores, and hosts several arts and crafts shows each year. When you get thirsty head to Maggie's Attic for a nice glass of wine or specialty beer. The village itself looks like something out of Victorian upstate New York. Nearby is Lake Dora where you can explore the lake on a cat boat tour for two. This is the ideal setting for a romantic weekend."
Some of our favorite places to eat are; The Frog and Monkey Restaurant & Pub, Copacabana Cuban Cafe, Fiesta Grande Mexican Grill, Maggie's Attic (wine and beer), Pisces Rising, PizzAmore, Wave Asian Bistro & Sushi, Foxtail Coffee Co. (coffee and pastries), and Allyson A Bake Shop (bakery).
"Visitors of downtown Tavares will find an entertainment district that has an international assortment of restaurants, pubs and music venues. You also will enjoy Wooton Park, home of the Tavares Seaplane Base, the children’s Splash Park and more than 16 major community events each year. Stop by Tavares for lunch or stay for the weekend and enjoy a seaplane ride, take a boat tour, or maybe glimpse long-gone historical figures on the Séance Ghost Tours. Board the Orange Blossom Cannonball and take a journey back in time on an original 1907 steam engine."
Some of our favorite places to eat are BTW- Burgers Tacos Waffles, O'Keefe's Irish Pub & Restaurant, Kalua Beach Bar, and BTW's Crafted Concoctions.
"Disney World's shopping, dining and entertainment district—which doesn't require a ticket to access—is located at the edge of the resort's property, near Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park. Along with a map full of stores and restaurants, Disney Springs actually offers plenty of activities to enjoy. From catching a movie, to watching a live Cirque du Soleil performance and even taking fun classes."
