I met Stephanie the day she was born. As her older sister, I like to think I’ve taught her everything from healthy cooking and living to avoiding waiting in line at all costs. I enjoy spotting my clothes in her Instagram photos and plotting our next sistermoon adventure in Bali. Even though we’re 13 years and 13 days apart, we’ve only grown closer as we’ve gotten older and I’m very excited to stand up next to her on her big day!

15 years ago, the biggest blessing entered my life. In third grade I met my soulmate. Stephanie Maya Goldberg, a name that would change my life. I have known Stephie her whole life and from the day we met, she has been the sister I have always wanted. She’s kind, thoughtful, loving, generous, beautiful, and so special in every way. Stephanie was my favorite girl in kindergarten (and I made sure everybody else knew it too). Since then, I’ve watched Steph grow into the most precious, sassy, thoughtful, whacky, and genuine being who is admired by every single person who meets her. From running wild around the neighborhood as 12 year olds to following each other across the country to colleges only an hour apart, the last 21 years have shown me the most special friendship. Stephanie and I share a connection that is more like a sisterhood. From first meeting in high school and sharing some crazy fun experiences, to the deepening of our friendship throughout the years with heart-to-hearts and meaningful talks (which I will never forget). My name is Luke Gaworecki and I am the brother of the groom. If you live near me, I’m the guy that’s always running. I have always enjoyed fishing, especially with Jake. Speaking of Jake, since I grew up with him, I’ve made quite a few memories with him so far. Luckily for you, you’ll get to hear some of them during the speech.

Considered the best looking male in Jake’s family, Brady coaches college basketball and will be found at your local dive bar. Single, so give him a jingle.

Most well-known for how fast he can zap a beer, Collin is a fun guy. He met Jake on the first day of college classes and has stuck around ever since for mischief on Black lake, countless unsuccessful hunts, and concerts all over the country with Jake & Steph. Collin thoroughly enjoys laughs with the fellas, classic fun hunts, and offering to be the DD but rarely following through. Collin is so excited to celebrate the love and commitment between the beautiful Steph and one of his dawgs, Jake.

I met Jake my first day of college while moving into the dorms. We quickly became friends while traveling for soccer and made many memories enjoying our time at ESF together. I enjoy hiking, skiing, fly-fishing and of course spending time with my friends. I live in Park City, UT and work as a Forester for the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.

Despite attending college with Jacob, it wasn’t until a couple years later that we really got to know each other. I would like to say I remember the exact details of how we crossed paths but that would simply be a lie. What I do remember is the laundry list of outdoor memories that we have accumulated in just a handful of years. Safe to say I don’t always share a 1 person tent in the mountains with another guy after days of not showering, but when I do Jake is my top pick.

My name is Ethan Justinger and I currently live in the state of Utah. I met Jacob in my first year of college about ten years ago, and to say we have matured since then, would be an understatement. In those ten years, I have some serious core memories. I actually owe my life to Jake after he caught me from falling down a narrow and STEEP basement staircase. Other memories with Jake mostly involve hunting, which is usually a serious rollercoaster of emotions. The type of adventures we have been on will forever be my favorite and I look forward to continuing these adventures (As long as Steph allows him). It would be a crime not to mention the dump truck loads of fun that is had, when big dogs get together to do big dog things.

Jake and I have known each other since our High School lacrosse days. Our love for the outdoors brought us back together after college and since then, Jake and I have hunted all over the country together. We have truly shared some of the greatest memories and adventures of my life. The days we have shared together have changed how I live my life. His words convinced me to marry my wife and his actions and caring personality have become the standard of friendship I try to hold myself. I am more grateful for Jake than he will ever know and I hope I can be half as good of a friend and human as he is.
